Drop TIFF scans or exports. Every page is read by this site's own TIFF reader — on any browser — listed with a preview, and written as JPEG or PNG, one file per page.
A TIFF reader in the page
Only Safari opens TIFF by itself. So that TIFF converts on Chrome, Edge and Firefox too, this page carries its own TIFF reader: it walks every page in the file, decompresses it (uncompressed, LZW, Deflate or PackBits), and converts black-and-white, grey, palette, RGB, RGBA and CMYK pages to pixels the browser can encode.
Some TIFFs it does not read, and it says so per page rather than guessing: JPEG-compressed TIFF, fax (CCITT) compression, floating-point samples and planar layouts. 16-bit pages are reduced to 8 bits per channel; CMYK is converted to RGB without a colour profile, which the page notes.
One file per page
Every readable page is chosen to start with; untick the ones you do not want. JPEG pages are searched to the lowest quality that still measures visually identical (0.990 at 512 px); PNG keeps every pixel. Several pages download as one ZIP named name-p01.jpg, name-p02.jpg and so on, with a manifest.
To put the pages into one PDF instead, use JPG to PDF with the converted pages.
