Drop SVG icons, logos or diagrams. Each is drawn by this browser at 1×, 2×, 3× or the exact width you type, and written as PNG with its transparency — or as JPEG or WebP if you prefer.
How the SVG is drawn
The browser draws the SVG as a picture, exactly as it would in an image tag: scripts never run, and nothing the file references elsewhere — a linked image, a web font, a stylesheet — is fetched. Those references are removed before drawing and listed under the file, so a missing piece is explained rather than silently absent.
The size starts from the SVG's own width and height, or its viewBox when those are missing, and is multiplied by the scale you pick. Because an SVG is a drawing rather than pixels, 2× and 3× are drawn sharp, not enlarged.
Text and fonts
Text in an SVG is drawn with fonts this browser has. If the designer used a font that is not on this device and did not convert the text to paths, the PNG will use a fallback font; the page notes when an SVG contains text.
